This fixed my problem! Literally can’t stop smiling at 4:30 am over how my computer is normal again. Thank you so much
I would like for you to burn the following to a CD: Data Life Guard Tools and boot from it. It will scan your drive for any errors such as bad sectors. Please do the extended test.
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I am stuck in an endless CHKDSK cycle which prevents me from accessing my computer. Safe mode does not work either because it gets stuck trying to load the files. CHKDSK isn’t even working properly because it is frozen at “Windows will now check the disk” with no progress being made in a 15 hour period. Does anyone have any advice for me? I bypassed this CHKDSK cycle last time by hitting F8 and “repairing my computer” but this time it’s not working. It’s extremely frustrating being stuck in a CHKDSK cycle with no progress even being made in CHKDSK itself.
Just found the hard drive info.
Hard Drive Name: WD10EARS-22Y5B1 ATA device

Partition size: 911.4GB
Hopefully this is enough information for you to work with
