I keep getting No bootable device- insert boot disc after switching on. Exactly last week my laptop was booting into Windows Automatic Repair mode. I tried System Restore and the System/Boot Repair option in the blue troubleshooting menu but to no avail. Two days now, I turn it on it and I get the black & white screen with ”PXE-M0F : Exiting PXE ROM No bootable device-insert boot disc.” I learnt about Hirens Boot CD and currently booted into it with my flash drive to seek help here. Would greatly appreciated assistance.Thank you

I use Lenovo 80T7, x64- based PC

Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N3060 @ 1.60GHz, 1601 Mhz, 2 Cores

win10 boot can be a pain when it starts acting up.
Your issue could be an easy fix or it could be one of those things you have to call about.

The easy fix, if it works, is to go into the bios and confirm that the bios boot device is the hard disk
( this works even if the CMOS battery is weak and wouldn’t hold the bios settings after shutting down the lappy, but has to be repeated every time you restart the machine, if your CMOS battery is weak).

If your bios shows the hard disk as the primary boot deviceĀ  and the lappy still doesn’t get past the PXE error screen, the problem is most likely a more complex startup issue in the machines boot sequence and possibly may only be fixable by an expert orĀ  Lenovo or MicroSo tech support.

bios > uefi > trusted boot decryption > win10
fingers crossed
