From beaming video feed from Netflix, to even mirroring your device’s interface on the TV. You can mirror your phone by using the mirroring shortcuts, usually in the quick settings pane that you pull down from the top of the screen. If you tap on the extended options you can access the Cast option in this menu. If there’s no icon available, you have to make sure that you have the Google Home app installed – open the app and tap Cast screen/audio to cast your Android’s screen to your TV.

Enable Dark Mode

Navigate to Settings > Display and toggle the Dark Theme/Dark Mode. This is a systemwide dark theme that switches everything to a dark theme. This is a good Android tip to use because it’s much easier on the eyes and helps extend your battery life.

Use different Home Launchers

A home launcher is an app that changes the way your device looks and feels – Android’s GUI elements get changed to make the layout, app drawer, and system user interface more pleasing to the eye. Launchers like Microsoft Launcher and Nova Launcher are available to download from the Google Play Store.

Developer options

Android is very customizable. With Developer options, the user gets granted access to the hidden features and settings of the Android operating system. Things like animation scaling, graphics rendering options, and UI customizations are tweakable and even the phone’s performance can be sped up by using the Developer options. You can enable these settings by going to Settings > About Phone > tap on Build Number a few times, and you’ll have developer options setting in your Android Settings.
